Nakula Investments was established in Windhoek, Namibia in 2014 with a clear mission: to bring professional investment management, engineering capability and operational discipline to one of Africa’s most promising frontier markets. Led by founder and CEO Nagarjuna Akula, the group has grown from a local business management firm into a diversified conglomerate with active interests spanning seven distinct sectors.

Our team of 30+ combined years of experience draws from construction project management, investment banking, mining operations, renewable energy engineering and digital technology. A Decade of Growth

2014

Nakula Investments Founded

Nagarjuna Akula establishes Nakula Investments in Windhoek, Namibia, focusing initially on investment advisory and business management for local enterprises.

2015–2016

Construction Division Launched

Entering the construction sector, Nakula delivers its first commercial projects in Windhoek — establishing a reputation for quality, transparency and on-time delivery.

2017–2018

Diamond Facilities — Onyoothi & Kapu Gems

Completion of two 500 sq m diamond manufacturing facilities for Onyoothi Diamonds and Kapu Gems, cementing Nakula's position in the precision industrial construction market.

2019

Namkit Pharma — 2,000 sq m GMP Facility

Delivery of a 2,000 sq m pharmaceutical-grade facility for Namkit Pharma — Nakula's first international-standard industrial build, passing GMP compliance on first inspection.

2020–2021

Ankit Gems Campus & Renewable Energy Entry

Nakula completes its largest project to date — 6,500 sq m for Ankit Gems — while simultaneously launching its renewable energy division with rooftop solar installations across Windhoek.

2022–2023

Marble Mining & Global Trade Expansion

Licensed quarrying operations commence in Namibia, with first marble and granite export shipments to India and the UAE. Import-export desk expanded with offices in Bengaluru and Dubai.

2024

Desi Dhaba & Continuing Growth

Launch of Desi Dhaba in Windhoek — Nakula's hospitality flagship — alongside continued expansion in telecom IT services, solar energy and investment management across the region.
